Visitation
Policy and proceeding with purchase
We sometimes get asked why we
don't allow visits to our pups until pick day at 8-9 weeks old. This is not
surprising given the number of "what to do when buying a dog"
websites that advocate for visiting the breeder and meeting the pup's parents
first. The problem with these sites is their priority is the buyer, not the
pups' or breeders' health and safety.
Safety
of the Pups:
Pups immune systems are very
immature. Many unsuspecting visitors have brought disease (parvovirus,
distemper, etc) with them when visiting pups, the result of which is the death
of the entire litter. We were lucky enough to have faired well so far. I
however personally know of several breeders that have lost entire litters to
parvovirus brought in by visitors.
Not very often, but occasionally,
we have retiring dogs. Our adult retiring dogs are NOT kennel dogs that are a
challenge to deal with. Not like the ones you'd expect to adopt at a shelter,
which many times have issues, are traumatized and unsocialized.
Our adult dogs are offered
for sale and are already wonderful with children, live in the house, are leash
trained and housebroken- not to mention that they are a great addition to your
family since they are also well mannered and non destructive.

dogs are selling for as much as our puppies or trained puppies.
You are getting a dog that is
ready to live with you and be your companion, while eliminating the time you
would take to train and socialize. The work has been done for YOU.

This is Bobby He is a red
Small Toy size pure bred Poodle. He weighs about 5-7 lbs only. Bobby is
retiring due to the fact that he failed as stud and has produced no litters for
us. We feel he is ready for a home where he can get the adequate attention he
deserves. He is not recommended for a household with young children if your
children are to rough play with him in anyway! He is a tiny Toy size and
therefore fragile.
Bobby is 3.5 years old. Bobby
is crate trained and can live indoors and is also used to living outdoors when
climate permits. Bobby is potty trained in our home and you will have to
enforce those habits in your own home as this will be a new environment for
him. He is very affectionate, very sociable, gets along with other dogs, loves
children and adults and is not your typical snapping, skittish, fear bitter
that is so common to see in Poodles. We would make a perfect companion for
those of you who are mostly home as he desires companionship above all else. Access
